The Shiawase no Kaori: Chiyo Uno collection incense is part of Nippon Kodo’s Premium Quality range of incense.
This ‘Fragrance of happiness’ collection was specially made to celebrate the Japanese writer and kimono designer, Chiyo Uno. Her favourite time of year was springtime, when the cherry blossom trees were in bloom, so the incense is fragranced with the gorgeous scent of cherry blossoms, or sakura.
This lovely set of 36 short incense sticks comes beautifully presented in a fabric-covered Paulownia wood box, which is made to represent a small bound book. As well as the incense sticks, there’s a ceramic incense stick holder included too.
