This is a beautifully Patched Endless Knot on Red cotton Tibetan Buddhist door Curtain Endless Knot (shrivasta) - infinite wisdom of the Buddha. The never ending knot stands for long life and eternal love.
This Tibetan Door Curtain can also be used as a wall hanging.
These are to be found in many entrances to buildings and temples in Tibet, Nepal and Northern India. For Tibetans, most of these have a special spiritual or symbolic meaning, and are used as adornments for the altar, in the “Gompa” (meditation room) or at home. In the West also, most products are being sold with symbolic designs, like the double dorje, kalachakra, knot of infinity or lotuses.
