Experience the rich, woody aroma of Pure Herbs Cedar Rope Incense, a traditional Nepali incense handcrafted in the Himalayan region of Nepal. Known locally as Dhup or Newa Dhup, this distinctive rope incense has a long association with Newar culture, where it is traditionally burned in homes, stupas and temples.

Made using Himalayan cedar and aromatic herbs, each rope is carefully prepared and twisted by hand into its distinctive rope-like form. The slow, smoky fragrance creates a warm and grounding atmosphere, making it ideal for meditation, Buddhist practice, prayer, yoga, spiritual rituals or simply enjoying the natural aroma of Himalayan incense.

Each bundle contains 50 hand-rolled incense ropes, with each rope measuring approximately 11cm and providing around 15 minutes of burning time. The compact rope format is traditionally burned flat on a bed of sand or ash, or in a suitable rope incense burner.
